Jeffrey A. Baldwin

Before joining VVLBW, Jeffrey Baldwin worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. He also founded his own successful practice.

Baldwin works exclusively in criminal defense, where he brings a wealth of experience. He has defended several death penalty cases and non-capital murder cases. He continues to represent clients charged in both state and federal courts, including in complex and white collar criminal matters. His appellate practice has included arguments before the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court and the 6th and 7th Circuit Courts of Appeals on the federal level. And he has extensive experience in all aspects of criminal defense both on the state and federal court levels.

Baldwin is active in a number of bar associations associated with criminal defense. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the 7th Circuit Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He currently serves on the criminal justice section board for the Indiana State Bar Association and the Executive Committee for the criminal justice section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
